One area that I feel particularly interested in is product promotion. I’ve long been a fan of Quiksilver Australia and it’s an huge aim for me to be working within that environment. What interests me the most is the design of apparel and youth design within this area with the idea of event promotion and design.

What skills do you have?

Below is a application for form for QuikSilver Australia.
I feel one of my best skills is idea generation. I never want to re-create past styles and I’m very focused on creating new original styles. Not something that you can look at and use words such as ‘vintage’ etc but something completely new and fresh. I’m trying to support this need along side a continuation in software skills and practice. I’m very committed and considerate to the needs of a brand and aim to the highest standards of current ability in terms of detail and finish.

The aims that relate to my aspiration is simply to create work that inspires. Creating fresh new design that will relate to an open market and make people want to be apart of it through apparel. I’m extremely passionate about this and would love to be walking down the street one day to see a group of people effectively wearing my work.

The area of work I wish to pursuit is branding and apparel. The reason for this choice is my strong passion to the QuikSilver brand and the lifestyle of working for QS’ Australia. My current work is strongly aimed towards bright modern design. Illustration and the connection between hand drawn to software is a strength I’m continuing to develop which will hopefully feed into creating a that new look I’m trying to find.
